Sewing Knits Without a Serger: Make “Tilly and the Buttons Coco Dress or Top”, with Lesley Patterson-Marx

Learn to sew an adorable “Coco” dress or top by Tilly and the Buttons on your sewing machine, no serger needed! https://shop.tillyandthebuttons.com/products/coco

In this eight hour class, students will learn techniques for demystifying sewing with knit fabrics, through the process of creating their own “Coco” dress or top with a variety of sleeve and neckline options. Use of a walking foot can be helpful, but isn’t necessary. This class is suitable for confident beginners who are comfortable using a sewing machine. Tuition is $135, and the class will meet at Textile Fabrics. Class size is limited to five people. Students will provide their own sewing machines, supplies, patterns, and fabric. The patterns and other supplies will be available for students to purchase at Textile Fabrics. Payment is due at the time of registration. Venmo, PayPal, cash, or check are all accepted.

Friday, November 17, 10:30-1:00 and Saturday, November 18, 10:30-4:00
